HVAC Service Technician

Full-time Jacksonville, FL · Field

Responsibilities

Diagnose, repair, and maintain residential and commercial AC systems throughout Jacksonville and surrounding areas
Install new AC systems including split systems, package units, ductless mini-splits, and heat pumps
Execute preventive maintenance tune-ups per Cool & Cozy's 26-point checklist
Communicate clearly with customers about diagnoses, repair options, and pricing — in English and/or Spanish
Maintain a clean, organized service vehicle and work area
Document all work with accurate notes and photos for customer records

Requirements

Valid Florida HVAC contractor license or EPA 608 Universal certification (CAC or registered technician under a licensed contractor)
2+ years residential HVAC experience (commercial experience a plus)
Valid Florida driver's license with clean driving record
Own basic hand tools (company provides specialty and diagnostic equipment)
Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred but not required
Reliable, punctual, and professional in customer-facing interactions
Comfortable working in attics, crawlspaces, and Florida summer heat
