1. Introduction & Acceptance

By using the Cool & Cozy AC Repair website (coolcozyac.com) or engaging our HVAC services, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.

2. Services Description

Cool & Cozy AC Repair LLC provides residential and commercial HVAC services including repair, installation, maintenance, ductwork, indoor air quality, and thermostat installation in Jacksonville, FL and surrounding areas. We are a Florida-licensed contractor (CAC1819948). All services are performed by or under the supervision of licensed technicians.

3. Estimates and Pricing

  • Written estimates are provided before work begins for all non-emergency services.
  • Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date issued.
  • Actual cost may differ from estimates if hidden conditions are discovered during work (e.g., concealed damage, code violations). Any additional cost is discussed and approved before proceeding.
  • Emergency service pricing is discussed before technician dispatch.
  • Payment is due upon completion unless financing terms have been arranged.

4. Warranties

Cool & Cozy provides a labor warranty on all installation and repair work. Specific warranty durations are stated on your service invoice and typically include 1 year on repairs and 1–2 years on installations.

Manufacturer equipment warranties are separate and subject to the manufacturer's terms. Cool & Cozy registers manufacturer warranties on behalf of the customer for new installations.

Warranty does not cover damage caused by third-party modification, misuse, power surges, acts of nature, or failure to maintain the system per manufacturer recommendations.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Florida law, Cool & Cozy AC Repair LLC's total liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the amount paid by the customer for the specific service giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages including lost profits, property damage beyond the service area, or business interruption.

6. Cancellation and Rescheduling

  • Service appointments may be cancelled or rescheduled with at least 24 hours notice at no charge.
  • Same-day cancellations may be subject to a trip fee if a technician has already been dispatched.
  • Customers may decline to proceed with a quoted repair after diagnosis — the diagnostic fee still applies.

7. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be governed by Florida law and resolved in the courts of Duval County, Florida.
